Most PixelFree tools (compression, resizing, cropping, filters, color picking, format conversion, metadata removal) run entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your image file is never transmitted to our servers for these tools.
A small number of tools (HEIC conversion, PNG palette compression, Image to PDF, and OCR) use additional JavaScript/WebAssembly libraries that are downloaded from a CDN when you open that specific tool. The processing itself still happens on your device — the library code is fetched, but your image is not uploaded anywhere by PixelFree Tools.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (which tools are used, how often), and Google AdSense to display advertising. Both may set cookies and collect standard technical data such as browser type and approximate location. We do not collect or store the images you process.
